May Altars

A creative idea to honor Our Lady during the month of May is making a home altar. This is especially nice to do with children to bring flowers to Mary throughout the month and to crown her on one of her feast days, like Our Lady of Fatima on the 13th or on Mother's Day. Another idea is to pray the Litany of Loretto before the May altar.The altar itself may simply consist of a statue of Mary, maybe some candles, and a vase of flowers. The practice of saying a few prayers before the altar on a daily basis can help...
